Colorado Bar Association CLE

CBA-CLE is an independent nonprofit corporation organized in support of the

Colorado and Denver Bar Associations to provide continuing legal education in Colorado.

Planning or Presenting a Program

Colorado Bar Association CLE offers over 125 Colorado-focused continuing legal education programs each year. We focus on comprehensive half, full, and multi-day programs, and occasionally offer shorter courses as well. Many courses are available in person (Downtown Denver) and virtually (via Zoom), and most courses can also be viewed later as a recorded home study. We aim to provide helpful educational content to all Colorado attorneys and across all practice areas.

Volunteer faculty members and program chairs serve the educational needs of our legal community and boost their own careers along the way!

Why Volunteer for a CBA-CLE Program?

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and share what you know with our legal community
  • Become a leader, invest in your own professional development, and improve your teaching and public speaking skills
  • Network with colleagues and other professionals
  • Receive teaching (CLE) credit - Registered Colorado attorneys and judges may earn CLE credits for teaching (includes lecturing, moderating a panel, or acting as a panelist) an accredited CLE course. See Form 5 for the details.
  • Complimentary program tuition - All faculty members will receive complimentary tuition and are pre-registered for the full program, should you choose to attend.
  • Earn attendance (CLE) credits – If you attend other presentations during a program, you may separately claim attendance credits.

Planning a Program (Program Chair)

Dedicated program chairs devote their time and expertise to creating a CLE program. Program chairs work closely with CBA-CLE staff to brainstorm a program idea, organize the agenda, invite speakers, review written materials, and deliver the program. Our program chairs are leaders and experts in their field, and we could not serve the legal community without them.
