Intellectual Property Fundamentals 2020 - VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

July 17 and 24

IP Institute Fundamentals - VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

Co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, Stanford Law School, Stanford Program in Law, Science and Technology, the Copyright Society of the USA, and the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law, and in cooperation with the Rocky Mountain Regional Office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have been working to address the changing COVID-19 circumstances, and how they have affected large, in-person events.

After many discussions and research, it has been decided to transition the IP Institute Fundamentals and the IP Institute to fully virtual this year, with several twists. On four consecutive Thursdays, mid-July through the first week of August, we will remote broadcast a few sessions live, as well as “drop” 8-12 pre-recorded sessions. On the afternoons of Friday, July 17 and 23, IP Institute Fundamentals will be remote broadcast live. At the end of the four weeks, all 50+ Institute sessions and IP Fundamentals will have been broadcast live or made available for on-demand viewing.  We’re calling this new, 2020-only concept “The IP Institute PLUS.”

We believe this is the best approach to preserving the Institute in this tumultuous year. We had moved the Institute from May to August in hopes that large, in person gatherings would be feasible and safe by that time, but since that move, the likelihood of such happening has become less and less likely. By Going Virtual, we are able to provide an interactive forum in a safe and creative way and to provide the quality programming you expect.
