Don’t Miss This Unique and Significant Summit Featuring the Judiciary, Engineers, Water Users and Private Firm Attorneys from Across Colorado!

Program Description

This is the sixth course in a series of courses related to the technical and engineering side of water law. Understanding the technical and legal aspects of groundwater is an essential requirement for anyone who is, or desires to become, involved with water rights and/or the practice of water law in any way, whether from a legal, technical, administrative or expert perspective. This course updates our 2009 Groundwater Law 101 program, and introduces you to the hydrogeology of water practice and its legal counterpart, groundwater law, in Colorado. It will provide you with the basic groundwater concepts, terms, theories and practices and their applications in the courtroom and administrative proceedings, as well as give you a firm understanding of groundwater law so that you will understand just what is required for you to know as a professional in this field.

Take advantage of this opportunity to acquire the basic technical and legal foundation in groundwater law necessary for your successful and effective water practice.
