Program Description:
 
This is the first of a series of courses that will be offered related to the major river basins in Colorado.  It has been designed for all professionals in the water rights arena, attorneys, engineers, expert witnesses, water resources managers and others who wish to practice in the Water Court for Water Division 2 which handles the water matters in the Arkansas River Basin.  This course will cover the geography of the basin, the major diverters and water users, the history and background of water matters in the basin, water administration and current issues.  The faculty includes practicing lawyers, engineers and administrators most experienced in Arkansas River Basin water matters.
