27th Annual Real Estate Symposium

July 2009

27th Annual Real Estate Symposium

Program Description

A 27-Year Tradition of Excellence . . .
The 27th Annual Real Estate Symposium promises to continue the tradition as the premier continuing legal education event in Colorado for real estate practitioners. This year the Symposium will combine an outstanding program with knowledgeable state and national presenters with social events designed to provide the opportunity to mingle with colleagues in the real estate community.

This year the Symposium partners with Keystone Resort & Conference Center located in the heart of Summit County. With the White River National Forest as its backdrop, Keystone Resort is in an ecologically rich habitat of wetlands, forests, river beds, and alpine lakes. The resort spans seven miles along the Snake River and encompasses three spectacular mountains. The scope of the resort makes it easy to blend the professional with the personal into agendas and vacations. Here families are welcome and will have plenty to occupy them when meetings are in session. Keystone offers award winning dining; vibrant villages with activities and shopping; two championship golf courses; stables with scenic wagon rides; Keystone Lake for kayaking or paddle boating; and over 100 miles of mountain biking trails and 40 miles of paved bike paths.

Work and Play with the Best of the Colorado Real Estate Bar
It continues to be the goal of the Symposium to reinforce the collegiality of the real estate community while providing timely topics for the real estate law practitioner and other real estate professionals. This year's faculty will provide insight on such timely issues including: Troubled Loans in Troubled Times – Loan Workout Topics and Tips; Safeguarding Your Entitlements During Troubled Times; Changes to the Colorado Real Estate Commission Approved Forms; Leasing Issues in Hard Times; Issues Affecting Common Interest Communities in the Current Economic Environment; What Real Estate Lawyers Need to Know About the Current Bankruptcy Laws; Buying and Selling Distressed Property; and much, much more! And above all, you will have the company of more than 500 of your colleagues in this 27th outstanding year of the Symposium!
We learn from each other, we develop a lifetime supply of contacts, and have a great time at Colorado's premier real estate conference!  We hope to see all of the familiar faces and many new ones too. Join us in Keystone for a delightful and stimulating weekend! Register today!
