Program Description:

Trust and estate law is a unique practice area in that it has the potential to cross into so many other areas of practice. At this year’s Fall Update, you will find out about the many impacts that tax issues have on estate planning, as well as the complications that occur when bankruptcy enters the estate planning picture. You will learn the best business entity choice from an estate planning perspective, and the cross-over into real estate law, as well as intellectual property, as well as family law. Even if you are familiar with all of these areas, the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel will let you know when it’s time to refer your case to someone with greater expertise.
