MEET YOUR PRESENTER

Kendra Beckwith, Esq., focuses on appellate and complex litigation. She routinely represents clients before the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Beckwith guides clients through the entire appellate process, starting with developing legal strategies, preserving issues in the trial court, and continuing through appellate briefing, oral argument, and petitions for certiorari.

At the trial level, Ms. Beckwith’s practice emphasizes complex proceedings in federal and state court, including issue analysis and preservation. Her practice covers a broad variety of subject areas, encompassing land use, natural resources, commercial litigation, class actions, constitutional law, professional liability, and insurance law.

Her past successes include defeating class certification in a gas royalties underpayment case in Wyoming federal court and overturning a $4.2 million jury verdict in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, obtaining judgment in her client’s favor. A representative listing of Ms. Beckwith’s previous matters is available upon request.

Ms. Beckwith believes communication is the cornerstone to her clients’ success. She uses her dual role as advocate and counselor to hear and understand her clients’ priorities and concerns. From those, she develops a strategic, effective, and efficient litigation strategy aimed at achieving her clients’ goals and resolving their challenges.

Ms. Beckwith is actively involved in the Colorado legal community. She is a member of the Colorado Supreme Court Committee on Civil Jury Instructions and a 2016 graduate of Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training (“COBALT”). Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Beckwith clerked for Judge John Daniel Dailey on the Colorado Court of Appeals
