This CLE offers an advanced, practice-focused examination of Colorado’s special statutory procedure for administering estates involving multiple decedents with limited assets. Practitioners increasingly encounter these situations when families discover oil, gas, or mineral interests that were previously too low in value to justify a full probate at the time of death. This program explains how this unique process allows an heir, a devisee, or successor thereto (sometimes referred to as an interested party) to efficiently clear title and transfer ownership without navigating multiple traditional probate administrations.
