The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 and How It Will Affect Estate Planning
The recently increased estate tax exemption necessitates the review of existing estate plans for moderately wealthy clients and opens up additional planning opportunities for our wealthiest clients. Saving income taxes rather than estate taxes, is now the tax planning objective for most people. This session will focus on the tax planning strategies and techniques that are available for drafting new estate plans as well as the modification of existing estate plans.
