Working with GALs: Inside the World of a Problem Solver - Webinar
Carl Glatstein and Alison Zinn will present on the role of the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in probate cases, as well as the nuances practitioners should be aware of when requesting a GAL or working with a GAL, including:
- The difference between a GAL and respondent’s counsel
- What to include in a motion for appointment of a GAL
- What authority a GAL has
- Whether a GAL may engage in direct communication with represented parties
- Confidentiality and privilege as they relate to information a party shares with a GAL
This session is a must-attend for attorneys appointed as GALs or those who regularly request or work with GALs in probate matters.
CLE CREDITS: This program has been submitted for 1 General CLE Credit.
