Trust and Estate Spring Update - 25-Minute “T&E Talks” on the Answers You Need to Know Now

Co-sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association Trust & Estate Section

Program Description:

Join these rapid-fire, 25-minute, “TED-talk” type presentations at the Trust and Estate Spring Update! The format is intended to be practical, so gather around to hear the answers to the questions you need to know about your practice now: What steps are you to take when guardianship will only make things worse? Is your POA MIA? How do you avoid being disqualified in your contested wills case?

Hear what a litigator and a trust officer wish you knew about drafting, and learn what you need to know about shifting a guardianship from one state to another. Get sound advice for your initial meeting with your clients, and discover how to build your trust and estate practice one client at time.

Find out why the importance of cultural competence in your estate planning practice cannot be overstated. Help your client choose a trustee. Get up to speed on digital assets in estate planning and administration. Finally, join the conversation on bringing up charitable giving with your clients--how to discuss the pros and cons, and how to redirect your clients if charitable giving isn’t the best option for them.

There is something for everyone at the Trust and Estate Spring Update. We look forward to seeing you there.
