Meet Your Presenters:
 
Erik R. Edwards, Esq. has a federal taxation practice with Polsinelli in Kansas City, which is served well by his entrepreneurial background. His particular areas of emphasis are partnerships, real estate taxation, and startups. Mr. Edwards has secured several private letter rulings and helped "get deals to closing" in a tax-efficient manner. Hallmarks of his practice include delivering tax advice to clients in "plain English" and working with clients' accounting professionals. He measures his success based on the growing level of trust and respect bestowed upon him by clients, accountants, and other attorneys.
 
 
James Liebscher, Esq., is a senior associate in Polsinelli’s Denver, Colorado office. Mr. Liebscher’s practice focuses on advising private and public companies in both buy and sell-side M&A transactions, primarily in the middle market. He also routinely advises on capital formation, entity structure, joint ventures, and compliance with federal and state securities laws.
