Meet Your Presenter:
Eric Martin, Managing Director, heads SRS Acquiom’s client relationship management group. Eric works closely with members of the advisory committees that are established for each deal, as well as the other larger shareholders of selling companies. Eric serves as the single point of contact for these clients, and together with his team, helps them effectively use the services SRS Acquiom provides and solve any issues that may arise.
Prior to his current position, Eric served as SRS Acquiom's Senior Director of Compliance, responsible for assuring that SRS met its obligations as the shareholder representative for hundreds of deals. Through that experience, he is arguably one of world's experts on shareholder representation, the needs and issues that arise for shareholders and, most importantly, how to resolve them quickly and efficiently whenever possible.
Eric’s diverse professional experience includes serving as CFO for a nonprofit organization, where he acquired and operated a distribution and contract packaging business, and working in Arnold & Porter’s Denver office in its business and finance practice. Eric’s law practice focused on private equity fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law matters for private equity firms and privately held companies.
Eric received a JD from the University of Denver School of Law, an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver and a BS in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
