Meet Your Presenters:    
         
Elizabeth (Liz) Harding's practice focuses on data privacy compliance, international privacy strategies, and the development of worldwide privacy and data protection policies and procedures. She brings significant experience within EU privacy law, having practiced in the field for almost 20 years (ten of those in the UK, before moving to the US) which provides her with a unique perspective on the compliance issues faced by US companies doing business in Europe and vice versa. Liz has been active in counseling numerous clients on how to prepare for, respond to, and implement privacy compliance initiatives under both the GDPR and, more recently, California’s Consumer Privacy Act. She offers pragmatic advice and analysis regarding territorial applicability of privacy laws, compliance obligations, and likelihood of risk and liability. Liz's clients are based in a variety of industries, including healthcare, IT, media, entertainment, hotels, and retail.
