This one-day trial advocacy program will be presented by the Colorado Chapter of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  All presenters are ACTL Fellows, all of whom are seasoned courtroom advocates.  This superb program not only includes the fundamentals of a well-orchestrated trial, but is also spiced with tips and tactics for the more experienced practitioner.
   
 
Program Description:
 
-Seasoned practitioners will demonstrate how you can successfully maximize your clients' chances of winning at trial, be it to a jury or to the Court.
 
-An experienced jury lawyer will discuss the fundamentals of persuasion that can occur while eliciting information from, and educating potential jurors about, your case.
 
-A top criminal defense lawyer will provide you with the basics of a powerful opening statement, while another will outline an effective direct examination.
 
-A most adept cross examiner will discuss the elements of an effective cross and ways to deal with the challenges of difficult witnesses and experts.  
-A most effective and respected commercial and intellectual property trial lawyer will discuss the key elements of a compelling closing argument.
 
-A longtime member and past Chair of the CBA Ethics Committee will present successful ways to deal with ethical issues that you will face as a trial lawyer.
 
-Our Distinguished Panel of Judges will discuss and answer your questions regarding the development of rapport with your judge and jury.
