During any interview, vital information is conveyed from one person to another in a myriad of subtle ways. Doug Cash, is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) with more than 27 years of law enforcement experience and hundreds of interviews under many circumstances under his belt. We will discuss the causes of deception throughout an interview, where duplicity originates, forms of communication, stress response states, and the differences between deception and lies.
