Program Description:
The program begins with the issues you face before trial.
From discovery disputes, to best briefing practices and case management, find out how the new Civil Rules Pilot Project is working, and how vital it is to your case to do your homework and know your judge.
Then on to the judges' thoughts on presenting a successful case.
The judges will talk about jury selection, effective and ineffective trial strategies, handling exhibits and demonstrative aids, and how to best utilize courtroom technology.
The final discussion is ethics: when does the court decide to impose sanctions? How far is too far?
It is rare to have an opportunity to hear from a panel of judges, and get candid answers on how to put on a winning case.
