This program will cover the Colorado Premises Liability Act, which provides the exclusive remedy against landowners for injuries sustained on land. The program will address:
- a brief history of the Act
- who constitutes a "landowner" under the Act
- which activities are covered under the Act
- which civil actions are barred by and which affirmative defenses are applicable under the Act.

Ms. Anderson's practice concentrates in the areas of employment law, construction defect litigation, product liability, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Wells Anderson & Race, Ms. Anderson practiced litigation with the Denver branch of a national law firm, specializing in labor and employment law, and with a boutique litigation firm, with emphasis on product and premises liability claims.
Ms. Anderson has practiced before numerous courts and administrative agencies throughout Colorado and the intermountain west. She has also represented clients in mediations, arbitrations, and contract negotiations. Prior to settling in Colorado, she practiced insurance defense, employment law and product liability law in New Jersey.
