Program Description:
 
This program will address the personal-injury case on behalf of the injured minor, from a probate perspective. What are some of the issues you should consider when settling a personal-injury case of a minor? How does C.R.P.P. 16 apply in these situations? What is considered a “Minor” minor case and a “Major” minor case?

Spencer Crona is a senior associate with the Denver firm of Wade Ash Woods Hill & Farley, P.C. A Denver native, Spencer earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver in June 1989 and was admitted to practice in Colorado in October 1989. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit in 1990. His current Colorado Bar Association memberships include: the Trust and Estate Statutory Revisions Committee, the Elder Law Section, and the Joint Trust and Estate/Elder Law PoA Abuse-Prevention Committee. Over the past 20 years, he has published numerous articles in professional journals and news media on estate litigation, personal-injury settlement planning and a variety of public-policy issues. Spencer practices in the areas of probate litigation, conservatorship and guardianship, and personal-injury settlement planning. He was elected in 2010 to fellowship in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and named a 5280 Magazine “Super Lawyer” for a second consecutive year.
