Trial Management and Technology for the Litigation Team

June 2010

Trial Management and Technology for the Litigation Team

Program Highlights

- The first is the creation of a trial notebook that becomes the effective road map and game plan for the presentation of the case, providing guidance and reference points for each stage of the proceedings. It keeps key information at your fingertips and ensures that you introduce the right evidence, at the right time, with the most impact.
- The second is the mastery of the courtroom technology and electronic presentation that juries have actually come to expect.  It is not just for big firms or long trials any more, and this role is increasingly becoming a highly mastered skill of the litigation paralegal.  The presentation of trial exhibits electronically is critical to the jury's understanding and retention of complex testimony.  Animations, diagrams and charts on the big screen become memorable and critical to the jury's ultimate decision making process.

Program Description

Today, successful litigation requires a precision litigation team - the attorneys and the litigation paralegals - working together as one highly skilled unit to achieve the ultimate goal. The old expression, “fail to plan, plan to fail,” is never more true than in the courtroom. This program for attorneys and paralegals presents the two most critical elements of a successful litigation team approach.
