Contempt Law - Webcast

A broad variety of practitioners use C.R.C.P. 107 contempt of court to enforce court orders. Contempt of court actions brought by a party usually arise out of an underlying civil matter, but then may require different tools and strategies to successfully prosecute or defend. Often, a criminal matter, it can require a fundamental knowledge of criminal procedure and law. This seminar is intended to provide a basic understanding of the rule, case law, and strategies surrounding the practitioner’s prosecution or defense of contempt of court.
