Program Description
The presentation will provide a legal update on education law with emphasis on policies designed to maintain a safe learning environment. Topics include the authority of educators, the role of the SRO and other agencies, student rights, restorative justice and interagency collaboration. In addition, legislative reform – both federal and Colorado law – will provide the context for discussions about legal duties and liability.
