Program Description

Intellectual property comes in many forms and is the basis of much of the value in the national economy today.  Knowing how to protect technology and software and client brands is essential knowledge for attorneys advising businesses, universities, non-profits, and governments.  Learning how to capitalize on that value property through licensing is equally essential.  In this one-day program, you'll learn the fundamentals of patent and software protection, how the patent litigation process works, trademark protection and policing, and how to license out what you've protected or license in what you need.
