Program Highlights
Be informed about issues facing your community and learn how you might be able to help!
Program Description
As the economy has slumped, you may have noticed an increase in calls from individuals with issues related to debt and housing. Bankruptcy, foreclosure, debtor/creditor and landlord/tenant issues are all on the rise. Whether your existing practice complements one of these areas and you’d like to get a general idea of where to start with such a case, or you’d simply like to better understand the issues facing our community, this series is here to help.
In each session, you’ll learn from a Colorado Legal Services attorney what to expect in four common problem areas: Debtor/Creditor, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and Evictions
* These programs are intended only to give attorneys a place to start when considering a consumer or housing case. They are not comprehensive and will not contemplate the myriad of issues that may arise in these types of cases. They are not a substitute for substantive experience.
** Available pro bono cases may be substantially different from the CLE programs that are being offered.
