Program Description
 
Federal Government contracts are becoming a larger and larger portion of the business of Colorado companies.  Attend this practical, useful program and get a great introduction to this important area of business law!
 
The program will focus on providing legal information relating to the Federal procurement process. The day will be divided into a morning session and an afternoon session. During the morning session, the presenters will provide an overview of the issues encountered during the life-cycle of a government contract, including government contract formation and bid protest issues, contract data rights, cost recovery, changes, contract closeout and termination matters, and other contract administration issues. The afternoon session will provide a more detailed discussion on specific topics of interest in Federal Government contracting, including subcontracting issues, specialty metals, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and mandatory reporting.
