Leadership For Lawyers

April 2008

Leadership for Lawyers

Every attendee will receive the book "Leadership for Lawyers"

Program Description

Lawyers are leaders and are called upon to lead clients, businesses, educational institutions, nonprofit and charitable institutions, governmental entities, as well as firms, in-house legal offices, and bar associations. This program fills the gap in legal education to provide every attendee with a working knowledge of leadership best practices, leadership theory, and leadership approaches that are useful in all areas of practice for lawyers.

Leadership for Lawyers is a course that provides key insights plus a practical review of the leadership literature and real world examples of successful leadership in the legal profession. This course brings to the profession the key advances in leadership development in such areas as communication, diversity and promotion of women in the legal profession, business development, law firm management, and client service and client selection. More and more law firms are hiring leadership development experts to help give their firms a competitive advantage. The legal profession is now catching on to the leadership development activities and training that other professions have been using for the past decade. This course is an excellent introduction to the approaches that will help make you a better leader.
