Program Description:
Drones, or small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), are rapidly becoming part of modern life and many individuals and businesses are almost daily finding new ways to use this technology. This program will provide:
- an introduction to small UAS;
- an overview of the existing federal regulations governing the commercial use of small UAS;
- a discussion of the Federal Aviation Administration’s proposed rules for small UAS;
- an overview of state law issues related to UAS operations; and
- a summary of the do’s and don’ts for clients considering use of UAS.
