Adoption & Alienation

This program will update you on two important substantive areas in your family law practice: adoption and alienation.  The Colorado Legislature passed a law last session that allows for second parent adoptions in situations where there is a sole legal parent of a child.  Learn about the impact of this new law on your clients and your practice.  Also, our faculty will discuss the implications of the upcoming implementation of Hague in the area of foreign adoptions.  Finally, our expert panel will update you on several different issues related to alienation, including parent alienation, child alienation, parenting plans, and a perspective from the court.  Don't miss this opportunity to stay current – register today!

Program highlights:
- Second parent adoption
- Finstune v. Edmond
