MEET YOUR PRESENTERS
 
Honorable Chris Bachmeyer graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1989, and was a litigation associate in a civil firm for four years. She moved to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in 1993, and was promoted to chief deputy in 2004. Judge Bachmeyer tried approximately 150 jury trials while a deputy district attorney. In August 2009, she was appointed to the 1st Judicial District Court in Golden, and presides over a mixed docket of domestic relations, criminal and civil matters.
 
Honorable Magistrate Eric B. White graduated from University of Colorado in 1989 and the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1992. He practiced for over 21 years before being appointed as a Magistrate in the 18th Judicial District.  In the practice, he worked as an Alternate Defense Counsel contractor for many years trying cases ranging from traffic offenses to homicides. At the same time, he built a private practice in the areas of domestic relations, wills and estates, bankruptcy, and county court civil. As a Magistrate for the past two years, he presides over a domestic relations and Probation Behavior Modification Court docket.
