Denver's Law Club and CBA-CLE cordially invite you to the “Ethics Revue at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret 2012.” The Ethics Revue is a much anticipated, annual continuing legal education ethics program produced and performed by members of the famous (or infamous!) Law Club and the Colorado Bar Ethics Committee. Attending the performance is the most unique and entertaining way to fulfill CLE ethics requirements and, as an added feature this year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Metro Volunteer Lawyers to support crucial and much needed legal services in Colorado
THE LAW CLUB + THE CBA ETHICS COMMITTEE = THE ETHICS REVUE
They're BACK! The CBA Ethics Committee and the Law Club once again join in an unholy alliance to present this year's hot ethics topics and those all-important rule changes in a fun and musical format! On November 12 and 13, 2012 at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, 16th Street Mall at Arapahoe, Denver, CO, you can once again experience the uniquely humorous musical skills of the Law Club.
Brave commentary on uncharted ethical issues will be provided by the remarkably insightful and thoughtful CBA Ethics Committee panel, moderated by Gerald D. (Jerry) Pratt, Esq. This is an occasion you mustn't miss. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Buy tickets for the firm.
So come to The All New Ethics Revue on November 12 and 13, 2012! Get some education. Have some fun. And oh yes ... Pick up three ethics credits.
Just don't ask who wrote the song lyrics. THE LAW CLUB NEVER TELLS.

THE LAW CLUB
The Denver Law Club was founded on April 10, 1914 as an organization of young (under 40), male members of the Denver Bar Association. It was to meet twice a month to discuss legal topics of interest to the members.
In 1939, for reasons that are obscure, a group of Law Club members began putting on entertainment at the annual meetings of the Colorado Bar Association. Early shows were put on during the first day luncheon. However, after World War II, the luncheon skits grew to full shows. These elaborate productions involved months of planning. Soon they, and not the staid biweekly meetings, became the hallmark of the Law Club. Law Club archives are replete with both written and photographic records featuring many of today's distinguished judges, as well as today's respected founders and senior partners of some of Colorado's most prestigious law firms making fools of themselves in public at Law Club shows.
Unfortunately, when the CBA discontinued its annual meetings, the Law Club lost its primary venue. However, the Club continues to write, produce and perform its own brand of irreverent musical satire before a variety of audiences in the Colorado front range.
The Law Club still holds monthly meetings, and topics of interest are still presented - and we frequently now receive CLE credit for attending. The original limits as to gender and age have been set aside. Today, attorneys and law students who reside or practice in the City and County of Denver are eligible for membership, and are encouraged to join us. As almost a century of distinguished jurists, judges, and even one Supreme Court Justice has shown, Law Club membership is no impediment to a successful legal career.
