Learn about best practices, pitfalls and potential areas of malpractice in settlement and mediation. The discussion will include helpful tips applicable to all mediations and settlement discussions, as well as issues that arise in particular areas such as cases with medical damages, legal malpractice claims, and aggregate settlements. The session will also address how best to communicate with your client in the context of pre-settlement, settlement negotiations and mediation.
