2026 Employment Law Update - In Person
Stay ahead of the curve with the 2026 Employment Law Update, a dynamic half-day CLE designed for attorneys who advise employers, employees, and organizations navigating today’s rapidly evolving workplace landscape. This timely program delivers practical insights, emerging trends, and strategic guidance on the issues shaping employment law in 2026.
Kicking off with a networking lunch, this program offers a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry professionals before diving into substantive sessions led by experienced practitioners.
The agenda features a deep dive into arbitration trends in both union and non-union environments, equipping attendees with a clearer understanding of how dispute resolution continues to evolve. Participants will then gain a comprehensive, practice-oriented framework for conducting legally defensible workplace investigations, including best practices for policy development, evidence gathering, and navigating attorney-client privilege—an essential session offering ethics credit.
The program concludes with an in-depth exploration of one of the most complex challenges facing modern employers: multi-state restrictive covenants. As legislative activity and judicial interpretations shift across jurisdictions, this session provides critical guidance on drafting enforceable agreements, managing risk in a mobile workforce, and developing effective litigation strategies amid conflicting state laws.
Whether you attend in person or virtually, the 2026 Employment Law Update will leave you better prepared to advise clients, mitigate risk, and respond strategically to the ever-changing demands of employment law.
IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE HAS ITS PERKS
Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc. (CBA-CLE) values you and your participation in the Colorado legal community. The pandemic taught us that community building comes more naturally in person than it ever could via Zoom. Attending CBA-CLE events in person is a great way to network and meet new colleagues.
To encourage community building through in-person attendance, CBA-CLE will be holding a drawing at every live program held in the CLE Classroom, available only to in-person attendees. The winner will receive a CLE Elite Pass for 1 year (a value of $1,295 for members/$1,695 for non-members) simply by attending live.
CLE CREDITS: This program has been submitted for 3 General CLE Credits, including 1 Ethics/Professionalism Credit.
The program is accredited in Colorado. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee's responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
Home studies will be available 2-3 weeks following the live program.
