Learn the ins and outs of new leave requirements under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and Colorado Health Emergency Leave with Pay Regulations. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 has changed unemployment benefits in several ways, as well as who is now eligible to receive benefits. How Colorado is implementing those changes is critical to your clients. The EEOC has provided new technical assistance on the interaction of the pandemic realities with existing discrimination laws.
