Expect some "Chicago"-style razzle dazzle at this year's '20s inspired theme for the Denver Bar Foundation's Barristers Benefit Ball, "Puttin' on the Ritz." The carousing begins on Saturday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., and we hope you'll join us for a whirl at the charleston or the good old jitterbug. Aside from seeing old friends or making some new ones, the Barristers Benefit Ball offers great food, a casino, and raffle prizes--all proceeds from the event go to the Metro Volunteer Lawyers, the Denver Bar Association's free legal services program for the poor. Raffle prizes, sold for $20 per ticket (need not be present to win), include:

• Lasik surgery procedure donated by Spivack Vision Center. Value: $3,590.
• A year of fine dining with 12 $100 gift certificates from Denver area restaurants including: Gallaghers; La Fondue; Morton's Steakhouse; The Greenbriar Inn; The Trinity Grill; and The Broker. Value: $1,200.
• Dinner for eight prepared at your home by the chefs of Yia Yia's Euro cafe. Value: $800.
• Ridgemore Homebuyers, specialists in estate, divorce and distressed property, have donated a $1,000 cash prize.
