The CBA Criminal Law Section presents a training on C.R.Cr.P. Rule 16 that will give the participant a well-rounded understanding of Rule 16 obligations, challenges, and litigating issues within Rule 16 from the perspective of defense attorneys, prosecutors, and judicial officers. Participants will leave with an objective view on what is required under Rule 16 and how compliance with discovery disclosures ensures integrity in the truth-seeking process for criminal cases.

This training will not only include presentations from attorneys in the field, but also a panel discussion with trial and appellate judges where attendees will be afforded the opportunity have questions answered on Rule 16 issues.

The program is accredited in Colorado. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee's responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
