PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
 
This program will reprise the local history, fundamentals and evolving concerns for the "large development" insurance product known as "WRAP" CGL coverage. The two principal forms of "WRAP" coverage, Owner-Controlled Insurance Policies ("OCIP's") and Contractor-Controlled Insurance Policies ("CCIP's"), will be discussed in detail. The program will also address the primary issues and perspectives of owner-developers, general contractors, subcontractors/vendors, and insurance carriers for effective application of this widely used product.

Mr. Farbes is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Denver office. He practices in the Real Estate & Construction Litigation, Natural Resources, Commercial Litigation, and Water & Public Lands groups. Mr. Farbes's work focuses on construction law, regulatory law, public utility law and natural resource law. Mr. Farbes has represented a wide variety of clients, including design and engineering companies; commercial developers; manufacturing and agricultural companies; regulated utilities; lenders and insurers; air, water and land regulatory agencies; local, regional and state governments; individual landowners; and public interest groups. He has represented construction contractors for Colorado's $1.7 billion T-REX highway and light rail expansion project, as well as for the state's $845 million E-470 Public Highway Project. He has counseled on contract formation, worked in design and construction claims and disputes, and litigated cases related to the Denver International Airport Terminal and Concourse C Project, Colorado's Jefferson County Government Center Project, the Black Hawk Casino by Hyatt Project, the Denver Convention Center Hotel Project, and the Ray Nixon Power Plant (Colorado Springs, CO).
