Program Description:

There are many participants who contribute to a construction project. In the end, everyone wants to be paid for their contribution. The basic concept of Mechanics’ liens in Colorado is that contractors, subcontractors, and others involved in the construction of a project that enhance the value of real property should be paid for their efforts. Different statutes apply depending on whether the project is public or private.

The authors of Liens and Claims in Colorado, 2nd Edition, who are also your speakers for this seminar, each have many years of experience working with construction industry clients. They will be in our CLE classroom on May 10 to share their knowledge and experience with you, and will give you the tools to become an even better legal professional to your construction clients.
