Joe A. Ramirez, Esq.

Joe A. Ramirez, Esq. is a senior associate in Holland & Hart's Litigation Department. His national practice focuses on business litigation with an emphasis on insurance coverage. His extensive experience in this area includes 15 years in the insurance industry overseeing complex coverage disputes involving construction, environmental, and product liability cases. Mr. Ramirez represents policyholders in a variety of insurance coverage cases involving commercial general liability, commercial property, directors and officers, professional liability, title, fidelity and surety bonds, and excess/umbrella insurance. He also consults business professionals on risk-management issues, minimizing his clients' disputes with insurers and business partners.
Mr. Ramirez has been in leadership of the American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, since 2005. In 2011, Mr. Ramirez was recognized by Best Lawyers in America for insurance law. He is a frequent national speaker on insurance coverage and risk-management issues, recently addressing insurance coverage lawyers on the efficacy of owner/contractor controlled insurance programs.
