Meet Your Presenter
 
Cecil E. Morris, Jr., Esq., is of Counsel with the firm Fairfield and Woods, PC, in Denver. Mr. Morris graduated from the New York University School of Law, has been in practice for more than 30 years, and is a member of the California and Colorado Bars. His practice emphasizes complex civil litigation and arbitration, mainly in the areas of securities, business and commercial law.
 
Cecil also has expertise in legal ethics and attorney discipline defense. Among other things, he has been a member of the Standing Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct of the Colorado Supreme Court since it was established in 2003, and he has been an active member of the Ethics Committee of the Colorado Bar Association for more than 20 years and was Chair of the Committee in 2004-2005. In addition, Cecil served on the Conduct Committee of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado from 2005-2011 and was Chair of the Committee in 2010-2011. Cecil writes and lectures frequently on issues of legal ethics.
