Drafting Worker-Owned Business and Co-Op Business Agreements: Business Document Drafting Series

Under a worker-owned business or co-op structure, employees own shares of the business and participate directly in business decisions. They are great structures for businesses that are looking to play a positive role in a community, and have been embraced in many industries, including brewing and distilling, farming and food production, and finance. They also provide an alternative succession plan for business owners who are ready to retire, but whose businesses still provide benefit to the community. In this session, you will discover how to draft organizing documents for worker-owned businesses and coops.

CBA-CLE will email webinar access information to registrants 24-48 hours before the program.

Home studies will be available approximately 2-3 weeks following the live program.

If disability accommodations or special assistance are needed, please contact us at [email protected]. Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled program.

The program will be submitted for CLE accreditation in Colorado. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee’s responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
