The program will be submitted for CLE accreditation in Colorado. If you need to seek accreditation in another state, please review the process and requirements for that individual state. Ethics Pitfalls in Common Transactions
This program will explore the application of Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, and 1.13 to common corporate transactions and the ethical conundrums that frequently arise during these transactions. Presenters Charles Ciaccio and Chad Williams will discuss the ethical pitfalls and liabilities that confront corporate lawyers in “intermediary” transactions, joint shareholder and entity representations, entity representations involving changes in control, and a number of other common transactional scenarios. Don’t let a deal gone bad become your ethical and professional liability downfall!

Joint Business Representation of Spouses
Estate planners have been representing married parties in estate planning matters for a very long time. They have their own requirements about that joint representation, including American College of Trust and Estate Counsel commentaries that talk about joint representation in the context of estate planning. There are several sources that talk about joint representation of business parties in business planning, but nothing specifically directed toward married parties.
