About the Book:
The Green Book has a long and distinguished history. It was first published by the trust department of the then Denver U.S. National Bank in the 1920s. In 1977, at the urging of several well-respected attorneys in Colorado, Colorado Bar Association CLE asked a committee of distinguished practitioners to select statutes and rules to include in a revised edition of The Green Book. This tradition continues today with the 2019 Edition of The Green Book, carefully updated by attorney David K. Johns of Salida, Colorado.
The 2019 Edition of The Green Book reflects extensive legislative changes with the adoption of the Colorado Uniform Directed Trust Act, directives concerning orders for scope of treatment, and the Colorado Electronic Preservation of Abandoned Estate Planning Documents Act. The Colorado Revised Statutes have been updated through the 2019 Legislative Session, including the addition of these changes. Nearly all Judicial Department Forms in Tab 5 were revised by the Colorado Supreme Court and have been replaced, and three new forms JDF 872, 873, and 918 - were added. The Title Standards in Tab 6 have been deleted from the print version of the book to avoid moving to two volumes; however, the Title Standards are still accessible from the electronic version of the book in your CLE Dashboard. The index has been updated to reflect all changes.

The Green Book is updated annually. Each update is released as a new softcover edition.

To access the PDF:
1. Log in to the CLE Dashboard.
2. Scroll down until you see DASHBOARD-AT-A-GLANCE.
3. Click on the BOOKS tab and find the title.
4. Click on the book icon labeled Download. The product will download as a zip file.
How to open the Zip file:
1. Save the downloaded .zip file to your hard drive
2. Right click on the file and select Extract All – this will open an extraction wizard.
3. Click Next and then select the location to extract the files to on your computer.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Next to begin the extraction process.
6. Click Finish when complete.
7. You will now have a folder on your hard drive containing a PDF version of your book and, if applicable, a folder with Word and PDF versions of the accompanying forms
