About the Book:
The Green Book has a long and distinguished history. It was first published by the trust department of the then Denver U.S. National Bank in the 1920s. In 1977, Colorado Bar Association CLE asked a committee of distinguished practitioners to select statutes and rules to include in a revised edition of The Green Book. This tradition continues today with the 2021 Edition of The Green Book, carefully updated by attorney David K. Johns and attorney Josie Faix as co-managing editors.
The 2021 Edition includes:
- The Colorado Revised Statutes in Tabs 1 through 3 have been updated through the 2021 Legislative Session.
- New C.R.P.P. 57 on electronic wills was added to Tab 4.
- The Judicial Department Forms for Tab 5, were updated with revised and new forms for 2021. Three Practitioner Forms in Tab 5 have been revised: Beneficiary Deed, Personal Representative’s Deed (Distribution), and Personal Representative’s Deed (Sale).
- The Real Estate Title Standards updates through December 2021 appear in Tab 6.
- The index has been updated to reflect all changes.

The Green Book is updated annually. Each update is released as a new softcover edition.
