Colorado Water Law Benchbook covers the historical foundation, the fundamentals of practice, and the anticipated future trends in the complex and ever-changing area of water law in Colorado. The Benchbook is designed to explain not only the mechanics of the processes, but also to provide a practical, analytical, and referential guide. Many of the JDF and DBB forms in Appendices 1 and 2 have been revised, and the Uniform Local Rules for All State Water Court Divisions have also been updated through Rule Change 2017(11) and are included in Appendix 1. In Appendix 3, the Glossary and Helpful Websites have been updated.

Colorado Water Law Benchbook, Second Edition was released in 2016. If you are purchasing this book, you do not need to purchase any supplements; the latest supplement is already included in the book. If you are looking to update a book that you already own, you need to check the date on the front cover sheet of your book. If your book has a date of 2015 or earlier on the front cover sheet, you need to purchase a new book. If your book has a date of 2016, you need only purchase the 2018 Supplement and the 2019 Supplement to update your book (this pertains to the print book only).

To access the PDF:
1. Log in to the CLE Dashboard.
2. Scroll down until you see DASHBOARD-AT-A-GLANCE.
3. Click on the BOOKS tab and find the title.
4. Click on the book icon labeled Download. The product will download as a zip file.
How to open the Zip file:
1. Save the downloaded .zip file to your hard drive
2. Right click on the file and select Extract All – this will open an extraction wizard.
3. Click Next and then select the location to extract the files to on your computer.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Next to begin the extraction process.
6. Click Finish when complete.
7. You will now have a folder on your hard drive containing a PDF version of your book and, if applicable, a folder with Word and PDF versions of the accompanying forms
