About the Book:
Planning one's estate is a very important, but often neglected, task for each individual. Most people do not wish to focus on their own death, and consequently estate planning is a task that is often postponed. Yet, an estate plan, or the lack thereof, will profoundly impact an individual's entire family when the individual either becomes incapacitated or dies. And, when someone dies without an up-to-date and effective estate plan, it often leads to unintended results and increased costs to the survivors. The estate planner must be able to deal with these issues and constantly adapt to societal changes, as well as case law, statutory, regulatory, and procedural developments.

The Colorado Estate Planning Handbook (also known as the Orange Book Handbook) is a comprehensive desk reference for attorneys who may be either new or experienced in the field of trust and estates - helping you address the most important financial and life care issues for your client and his or her loved ones.
