Understanding Secondary Trauma and Increasing Personal Resilience Out of Stock

Co-sponsored by The Colorado Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being

Colorado Supreme Court Well-Being Recognition Program

Secondary  trauma is the cumulative inner transformative effect of bearing witness to abuse, violence and trauma in the lives of people who we care about and are committed to helping.  Although secondary trauma can be a frequent occurrence for attorneys, judges, and those who provide care to clients and others, failure to address the causes and symptoms can lead to negative outcomes in one’s life.  This presentation focuses on understanding stressors that are inherent in the legal industry and building tools to mitigate its negative effects.

CBA-CLE will email webinar access information to registrants 24-48 hours before the program.

Home studies will be available approximately 2-3 weeks following the live program.

If disability accommodations or special assistance are needed, please contact us at [email protected]. Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled program.

The program will be submitted for CLE accreditation in Colorado. If you need to seek accreditation in another state, please review the process and requirements for that individual state. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee’s responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
