Geographic Information System
Nearly all of the water-related data in Colorado has an inherent geographic component. The Division of Water Resources and Colorado Water Conservation Board have developed databases, viewing tools, and maps that help DNR employees and the public bridge the gap between tabular and spatial data. This session will show the types of GIS data available and how it is used by different tools to help retrieve data with geographic significance. The session will include discussion of map viewers and the data behind them.
