Lawyers on Facebook - Oh My!
Program Description
:
This program is designed to get solo and small firm lawyers more comfortable talking about and considering the use of their own “brand” in social media, primarily Facebook. We will look at the “terms of engagement” for a solo or small firm's use of Facebook, including an overview and discussion of what lawyers are afraid of, and how social media and Facebook in particular operate in our networked world. We will identify some of the legal and ethical risks of Facebook and the like, along with how to mitigate such risks and still have a satisfying and meaningful engagement with social media.
