It's Easy Being Green: Green Leasing in Colorado

CBA-CLE Connect Program

Program Description:

Increasing numbers of landlords and tenants have incorporated more environmentally friendly or “green” components into their real estate projects.

As landlords, tenants, developers, architects, engineers, and brokers become more familiar and interested in green building, so too should the attorneys who represent these groups working in real estate.

This presentation will provide an introduction to green building and some common green building standards, describe some risks to parties related to green building, and discuss aspects to consider when preparing green leases, including the newer concept of net zero energy leases.
