Program Description:

In 2011, Colorado had among the 10 highest foreclosure rates in the nation, according to a report from RealtyTrac Inc. Since then, rising home prices fueled by one of the strongest economies in the nation and low interest rates have caused foreclosures to wane in Colorado and the Denver area.

Despite the improvement in Colorado's economy, and the decrease in foreclosures, real estate lawyers and professionals still need to be aware of Colorado's foreclosure process, because it is unique compared to other states, and foreclosure is always a consideration when representing clients.

Participate in this Seminar to learn Colorado's public trustee foreclosure process from start to finish, along with how to deal with nuances such as bankruptcy, tax liens and receiverships. Also participate in discussions on judicial foreclosures, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure and workouts.
